Hello. We are the Waters, a family residing in the Atlanta, GA area. We have a 7-year-old daughter and were expecting our second child, a little boy, to join us in April 2023. Unfortunately, our world was turned upside down when we received the devastating news that our son’s heart stopped beating just a week prior to his due date. Up until that point, we had a textbook pregnancy. The news left us in complete shock that this was our new reality.

Through our loss, we’ve learned the staggering statistic that over 21,000 babies are stillborn every year in our country (1,000 in Georgia alone). Now that our eyes have been opened to how often this happens every day, we feel compelled to help others who will experience the same heartbreak.

This led us to start Daniel’s Drive, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting bereaved families with resources during a time when they are needed most. Thank you for visiting our site.
